We support you in conceptual planning and assessment of the best suitable and sustainable energy supply solution for you factory site. We develop concepts for sustainable energy supply (e. g. PV, wind, biogas) including potential storage systems. Based on simulations including load profiles of your site we dimension these concepts and evaluate their costs and environmental impact. In a roadmap we provide a reliable information basis for (short -, medium -, long term) planning variants for investment decisions.
How to access our testing facilities
It typically starts with an initial consultation to understand the company’s production processes, energy systems,
and objectives. Based on this, a tailored scope for energy monitoring and/or renewable energy planning is
defined. After agreement on the measurement concept or planning framework, companies are supported to
setup the required measurement hardware and software or simualtion scenarios followed by validation, and
analysis in collaboration with our experts.
Support provided during the testing process
We support companies throughout the entire process, from concept development to implementation and
evaluation. This includes designing customized measurement and monitoring concepts, selecting suitable
hardware and software solutions, integrating production and energy data, and analyzing results. Continuous
technical guidance is provided to ensure data quality, interpret findings, and identify concrete measures for
improving energy efficiency and supporting investment decisions in renewable energy systems.

Companies have direct access to technical experts throughout the process. Experts support companies in
areas such as energy monitoring system design, data integration, energy efficiency analysis, and renewable
energy investment planning. Consultations can take place during workshops, project meetings, or targeted

The center facilitates networking opportunities through workshops, information events, and collaborative

project outcomes. Additionally, Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) of companies or products can also be evaluated in
a different serice of our research institution.

Costs depend on the scope, duration, and complexity of the services required. After the initial consultation, a
transparent cost estimate is provided. In some cases, public funding programs or pilot project frameworks may
be available to reduce costs for participating companies.
