On 12–13 May 2026, project partners, SMEs, innovation support organisations and regional stakeholders gathered in Budapest, Hungary, for the Danube DNA Final Event & Expo Event, marking the successful conclusion of the Danube DNA project.
The two-day event provided an opportunity to reflect on the project's achievements, present the jointly developed solutions, exchange experiences from pilot implementations, and discuss the long-term sustainability of the Danube DNA network and its outcomes.

The first day was dedicated to the project's final partner meeting and the 6th Steering Committee Meeting, where partners reviewed the overall implementation of the project, evaluated the achieved outputs and deliverables, and discussed future cooperation beyond the project lifetime. Particular attention was given to ensuring the sustainability of the Danube DNA network and the continued exploitation of the project's results.
The public Danube DNA Expo Event on the second day showcased the innovative digital solutions and pilot activities developed throughout the project. Participants had the opportunity to explore practical tools designed to support the digital transformation of SMEs across the Danube Region while exchanging ideas with project partners and representatives from the business support ecosystem.
Pomurje Technology Park (PTP) presented the B2GreenHub platform, highlighting its role as the project's long-term digital environment for knowledge transfer, networking, dissemination and capacity building. The presentation introduced the platform's key functionalities, including the knowledge repository, training resources, smart specialisation materials, expert and SME registration, networking opportunities, and the digital tools developed within the Danube DNA project.
PTP also demonstrated the AI-Powered Funding Call Matcher, an intelligent funding support tool integrated into the B2GreenHub platform. The solution uses artificial intelligence to help SMEs quickly identify relevant funding opportunities by analysing and matching funding calls from multiple sources. Participants learned how the tool simplifies the funding search process through AI-assisted recommendations, advanced filtering options and sector-specific matching, enabling organisations to identify suitable financing opportunities more efficiently.

The Expo Event highlighted the tangible impact of the Danube DNA project by demonstrating practical digital solutions, sharing lessons learned from pilot actions, and strengthening cooperation between organisations across the Danube Region. The strong participation of project partners, SMEs and stakeholders confirmed the value of the developed tools and reinforced the project's contribution to supporting the digital and green transformation of enterprises well beyond the project's completion.
