REUSE 2030: Driving the Circular Innovation with B2GreenHub

Mileva Marčič   • 23 feb 2026 • 1 min read

REUSE 2030 plays a key role in driving circular transformation within the mechanical sector. The manufacturing industry in Central Europe consumes large amounts of resources yet recycles only 12%. To address this, REUSE 2030 analyses current waste streams and circular practices within the sector, leading to the creation of the Digital Circular Inventory and the Zero Carbon Tool. These resources help mechanical companies better understand their material flows and empower them to independently adopt more sustainable practices.

Zero Carbon Tool supports Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and enables the measurement of both potential and actual improvements achieved over time.
Digital Circular Inventory is designed to identify circular economy solutions that can be applied in manufacturing processes to increase efficiency while reducing waste and environmental impact.

To further support European mechanical companies, REUSE 2030 is connecting with the B2GreenHub ecosystem, which brings together various European initiatives driving the green and digital transition.
