AI-Powered Funding Call Matcher
As part of its role in developing joint digital solutions for SMEs, PP7 Pomurje Technology Park (PTP) has successfully developed the innovative AI-Powered Funding Call Matcher—a smart online tool designed to simplify and accelerate the process of identifying suitable EU funding opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises.
For many SMEs, navigating the complex landscape of European funding calls is a major challenge. Limited time, insufficient staff, and a lack of expertise often prevent companies from finding and applying to the calls that best match their needs. The AI-Powered Funding Call Matcher directly addresses these barriers by using an intelligent algorithm to analyze and interpret essential elements of open calls, including project type, technological focus, sector, budget, duration, and co-financing requirements.
By processing these parameters, the tool instantly generates a personalized list of the most relevant funding opportunities, tailored to the specific characteristics and strategic priorities of each SME. This targeted approach not only saves valuable time but also significantly increases the likelihood of preparing successful applications.
Through precise and automated recommendations, the AI-Powered Funding Call Matcher empowers SMEs to participate more effectively in European funding programs, supporting their innovative efforts, boosting competitiveness, and enabling greater engagement in Europe’s digital and green transition.
This tool represents an important contribution to strengthening SME capabilities across the region and reinforces PTP’s commitment to providing practical, accessible digital solutions that foster sustainable growth and technological advancement.

Market Pulse
The Market Pulse solution, developed by the Faculty of Technical Sciences (FTN), is an AI-driven online forecasting tool designed to help SMEs anticipate market demand for their products more accurately. By integrating advanced analytics with an intuitive interface, the tool enables companies to make informed, data-driven business decisions.
Market Pulse analyzes a range of influential factors — including sales trends, market share, GDP growth, marketing expenditures, and seasonal patterns — to generate dependable demand forecasts. Companies can upload their data directly into the Danube DNA platform and receive both numerical results and easy-to-interpret visual projections. Data confidentiality is ensured, and the tool’s drag-and-drop interface makes it accessible even to non-technical users. This integration allows real-time data updates and continuous enhancement of forecasting accuracy as more information flows into the system.
By adopting Market Pulse, SMEs gain the ability to optimize production planning, improve inventory management, and make smarter investment decisions. This helps reduce the risks of overproduction or shortages and strengthens their overall competitiveness in the market.

Digital Readiness Analysis with an AI-based assessment
SOVA Group, in cooperation with its partner STRIA, has successfully developed and implemented the DRA AI solution (Digital Readiness Analysis with an AI-based assessment). It is a practical tool designed to support the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Danube Region.
The solution uses a technology readiness assessment methodology that helps companies objectively evaluate their digital maturity, identify weaknesses, and plan targeted measures to strengthen their competitiveness in cross-border value chains.
In Slovakia, two pilot assessments have already been completed with very positive feedback. One of the participating companies has started implementing the recommended digitalization steps in close cooperation with the project team, while the second is independently implementing improvements guided by the assessment results.
Experience to date shows a very positive response from SMEs. Several companies have expressed interest in the assessment, as it provides a comprehensive overview of their level of digitalization and clearly identifies areas where they can further improve.
The tool is currently fully operational, and its further development and operation will be continue even after the Danube DNA project ends, guaranteeing its long-term regional impact.
Cooperation among the project partners demonstrates how the combination of artificial intelligence and cross-border collaboration can effectively support SMEs in adapting to the challenges of Europe’s digital economy. The application is available in Slovak, Serbian, and Hungarian, making it accessible to a wider network of SMEs across the Danube Region.
