About me

I am a Ph.D. student in the Food Biotechnology field to USAMV Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and I hold a certificate as Food Engineer. I am currently working on developing edible films and coatings for increasing the food shelf life, made from biopolymers (e.g., pectin, chitosan) and essential oils.
