Description of center’s mission and objectives

The Center for Digital Innovations at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering is dedicated to revolutionizing the agricultural landscape by harnessing digital technologies to empower small farmers and enhance environmental sustainability. Our services encompass customized digital tools, personalized counseling, and comprehensive training programs tailored to address the unique challenges faced by small-scale agricultural producers. Through our innovative approach, we aim to facilitate technology adoption, improve farm productivity, and promote sustainable farming practices.

Description of center’s facilities and equipment

The center is primarily focused on digitalization in agriculture and provides facilities and specialized equipment for testing and demonstration various aspects of use of digital technology in agriculture (sensors, actuators, communication equipment, microcontrollers and development boards, drones). The center also has access to other equipment and laboratories at the University of East Sarajevo, especialy Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Agriculture and Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, and can also provide services in green technologies such as Renewable energy and Energy Efficiency.
