Description of center’s facilities and equipment

Fraunhofer IGCV has been researching the design of sustainable production systems and lightweight components for 15 years. We evaluate the environmental impacts of products and processes in numerous publicly funded projects as well as through direct industry assignments. Additionally, based on our expertise in composite structures and additive manufacturing, we have developed commercial LCA databases, which are marketed through the company Sphera.
