Challenge

Industrijski park Nova Gradiška supports entrepreneurs, investors and SMEs through an investment zone and business-technological services. A recurring challenge is that entrepreneurs often have promising ideas but lack a clear structure for turning them into complete investment documentation. In practice, important elements such as target users, market logic, costs, revenues, financing needs and feasibility indicators may remain fragmented. For a business support organisation, this creates a need for a practical tool that can help guide users from an initial idea to a clearer and more credible investment proposal.

Solution & Result

The challenge was addressed by piloting InvestPlanner as an AI-supported tool for business definition, business analysis and investment study creation. IPNG tested how the solution can support entrepreneurs and business support organisations in structuring investment ideas, improving business logic and preparing professional planning outputs.
The pilot resulted in a clearer advisory approach for guiding entrepreneurs and investors through the investment planning process. It helped IPNG better understand how a digital tool can support the preparation of structured business inputs, improve consistency of documentation and connect descriptive project information with financial feasibility. The main practical result was a reusable workflow for supporting SMEs from an initial business idea toward a more complete investment proposal.

Learning tips & recommendations

Business support organisations should first help entrepreneurs define the basic elements of their investment idea: offer, target users, market need, operating model, expected costs, revenues, financing needs and key risks. Digital tools such as InvestPlanner can then be used to structure the information, identify weak or missing sections and prepare a first professional draft. However, AI-supported outputs should always be checked by an expert. The best approach is to combine the tool with advisory experience and use it as a practical support method for SMEs and investors.
