Insight Consulting works with clients who often have a project idea, investment need or development opportunity, but need support in turning it into a clear and convincing business case. The challenge was to test whether InvestPlanner can help structure early-stage client inputs into a more coherent business description, analyse the feasibility of the proposed idea and support the preparation of financial assumptions. For a consulting company, this is important because different clients provide information in different levels of detail, while funding and investment documentation requires clarity, consistency and a strong link between the project purpose, market need and expected results.
Insight Consulting used InvestPlanner on a consulting-type case where initial business information had to be shaped into a clearer planning structure. The tool supported the preparation of a business description, review of the proposed business logic and identification of missing or weakly explained elements. AI assistance was also used to check financial assumptions and highlight areas where additional explanation or validation would be useful.
Through the pilot, the company tested how InvestPlanner can serve as a first analytical layer before expert consulting review. The result was a more structured draft, clearer links between the project idea, target users, expected benefits and financial logic, as well as practical recommendations for improving the quality of future client documentation.
For consulting companies, AI tools are most useful when used after the consultant has collected the basic client information: project purpose, target group, expected investment, revenue logic and key assumptions. Do not start with empty or vague inputs. Use InvestPlanner to organise the information, detect weak points and prepare a first structured draft, but always apply expert judgement before using the output in client or funding documentation. A good approach is to test the tool on one real case, compare the AI-supported version with the usual consulting process and then define where it saves the most time.
